Answer:

Explanation:

Hiking Poles can be useful for Scaring away Cows. Swinging them about a bit will catch the eye of a Cow and remind it of the Farmer with his Crook that he uses to steer the Cows. They will generally move if you speak with a voice of authority while swinging a pole as the Farmer would.

If a cow enters your garden, I ll do

  • Its totally depends where the garden is.
  • If incase you live in the city in the US, you most likely won't be able to keep one.
  • Most cities and towns don't allow livestock within the city limits for sanitary reasons.
  • Cows produce a lot of manure. Besides, unless you have a large garden or are willing to buy a lot of hay, a garden isn't going to be big enough.
  • Depending on where you live, cows can require anywhere from 1 to 40 acres or more per cow just to allow them to graze for their food.
  • If they are pregnant or producing milk, up the requirements.
  • The drier the climate, the more land required.
  • You also need to supplement them with minerals (salt blocks and mineral blocks), grain, and they need vet visits. If you want to keep one for milk, you have to get her pregnant every year to freshen her.
  • Her milk will last about 10 to 11 months then she will dry up about a month before she calves.
  • She will not produce the same amount of milk the entire time.
  • It will taper off. I'm forgetting things, I know.
  • Oh yeah, her hooves will need trimming.
  • If she isn't out roaming, wearing her hooves off, they may grow too long.
  • There's a lot of things to think about if you want to keep a cow.
