If a cricket ball of 100g strikes the hand of player with 20ms^1 and is brought to rest in 0.01s. Calculate the force applied by player

Net force applied by player = Change in momentum of the ball/ Time
                                            = (0 - (- mv))/0.01
                                            = (0.1 * 20)/0.01 = 200 Newton.


I have assumed that player is at origin and ball was coming parallel to x axis in negative direction.
