Buoyant force= Volume of displaced water x density of water x accn due to gravity

Volume of cubical block=(1.2)^3=1.728cm^3

Volume of displaced water=volume of object immersed in it

So volume of displaced water=1.728 cm3

Density of water=1 g/cm3

Accn due to gravity=10 m/s2

Buoyant force=1.728 x 1 x 10

=1.728x10 Newton

if the Body is just immersed in the water and it is in equilibrium then
