Question

if a current carrying wire is suddenly cut bye a sharpe knife, then why electron moving whithin wire fall out..... ??? why electron doesn't follow outside from the wire???
 like a if  water carrying pipe is suddenly cut bye a knife then water within pipe follows outside????

I am not completely sure but I will try to answer the question.That is because the circuit becomes disconnected and have no place to go to and moreover it is connected to the battery which causes the electrons to move on only one side
