If a current flows -ve to +ve in a closed circuit then why a battery discharge after some time?????

Answer:

In battery positive and negative charges are seperated from each other which leads to emf in cell but when charges flows from negative and positive charges they neutralized each other and hence there is no seperation of charges is there and hence no emf in battery.
