Given conditions ⇒

Perimeter of the Front wheel = 77
Number of the Revolutions made by the Front wheel = 230

Perimeter of the Back wheel = 55

We know the distance traveled by both the wheels will be same.

∴ Distance traveled by the Front wheel = Number of the Revolutions made × Distance traveled in 1 revolution (or Perimeter)
 = 230 × 77
 = 17710

Now, This much distance will be traveled by the Back wheel also.

∴ No. of Revolutions made by Back wheel × Perimeter of the back wheel = 17710
 No. of Revolutions × 55 = 17710
∴ No. of Revolutions = 17710/55
⇒ No. of Revolutions = 322

Hence, the numbers of the Revolutions made by the back wheel will be 322.

Hope it helps.

The perimeter of front wheel = 77 units

That is
The distance covered by the front wheel in 1 revolution = 77 units

The distance covered by the front wheel in 230 revolutions
= 230 × 77
= 17710 units

The perimeter of back wheel = 55 units

That is
The distance covered by the back wheel in 1 revolution = 55 units

Let x be the number of revolutions made by the back wheel to cover the distance 17710 units

Then
x × 55 = 17710

x = 17710 /55

x = 322

I hope this answer helps you
