Hey.
Time t = 1 min = 60 s
radius of the path = 120 m
As circumference= 2πr
so, circumference= 2×3.14×120 m
= 753.6 m
As he takes 60 s to complete half revolution
so, distance covered ,d = 753.6/2 = 376.8 m
So, average speed = d/t
= 376.8/60
= 6.28 m/s
But as displacement =Diameter= 2×120 = 240m
and avg. velocity = displacement /time
so, avg. velocity = 240/60 = 4 m/s
Thanks.

velocity= displacement. ÷. time
240. ÷. 60
4m/s
because , radius =120
displacement or diameter = 120×2
=240
time = 1min = 60sec
