Solution:-

Given that:-

  • cylinder and a cone have the same radius and height.

To find:-

  • how many cones full of milk can fill the cylinder

______________________________

Let the number of cones be x.

Volume of cone is 1/3 of the volume of cylinder.

So,

</u><u>x \times \frac{1}{3} \pi \: r {}^{2} h \\ \\ x \times \frac{1}{3} = \frac{\pi \: r {}^{2}h }{\pi \: r {}^{2} h} \\ \\ x \times \frac{1}{3} = 1 \\ \\ \frac{1}{3} x = 1 \\ \\ x = 1 \times \frac{3}{1} \\ \\ x = 3</u><u>

Required answer :- 3 cones
