The total curved surface area of the figure will be

Total curved surface area = Curved surface area of cylinder+2*curved surface area of the hemisphere.

Total surface area = 2πrh+2*2πr²

where,

r is the radius and h is the height of the cylinder and π is a constant.

Total surface area = 2πr(h+2r) sq. units

Hence, the total surface area is 2πr(h+2r) sq. units.
