TSA of new cylinder will be 968 cm 2.
Take the formula of tsa and put r=4 cm and find the height. It will be 34.5 cm

kchandankhushi: we have to consider the formula of volume..and r - 4..not r = 4
maitreyi12: Then put the radius=3cm
kchandankhushi: ya..and consider d volume
maitreyi12: what's your height ?
kchandankhushi: 81.6
maitreyi12: is it correct?
kchandankhushi: idk yet
maitreyi12: OK

kchandankhushi: but u have to consider volume
maitreyi12: but why
kchandankhushi: since the cylinder is recasted..then obviously it is first melted and recasted into a new cylinder..so the volume of cylinder will be equal to the volume of the new cylinder
kchandankhushi: m i ryt ???
maitreyi12: i dont think so !
maitreyi12: but TSA will also be the same
kchandankhushi: no dear..ideally u need to take d volume..
