Answer:

The marked price of the music system is Rs 19150.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : If a dealer purchase a music system for Rs.15320 he allows a discount of 12% on the marked price and gains 10% on it.

To find : The marked price of the music system?

Solution :

Let x be the marked price.

Discount= 12%

The cost price is rs.15320

The selling price is

SP=MP-(\frac{D\%}{100}\times MP)

SP=x-(\frac{12}{100}\times x)

SP=x-0.12x

SP=0.88x

The profit% is 10%.

The selling price is

SP=CP\times (1+\frac{G\%}{100})

SP=15320\times (1+\frac{10}{100})

SP=15320\times (1+0.1)

SP=15320\times (1.1)

SP=16852

Equating both the selling price,

0.88x=16852

x=\frac{16852}{0.88}

x=19150

Therefore, The marked price of the music system is Rs 19150.
