question:-

if a diagonals of a rhombus are 12 cm and 16cm , find the length of each sides.

solution:-

let us assume the rombus as ABCD

formula:-

 \frac{bd}{2} ^{2}  + \frac{ac}{2} ^{2} = s^{2}

so we have:-

 \frac{12}{2} ^{2}  + \frac{16}{2} ^{2} = s^{2}

 {8}^{2}  +  {6}^{2}  = s ^{2}

 s=  \sqrt{100}=10cm

therefore ,each side= 10cm

question:-

if a diagonals of a rhombus are 12 cm and 16cm , find the length of each sides.

solution:-

let us assume the rombus as ABCD

Sides will be = 10 cm.

By using,

(2BD) {}^{2} +(2AC) {}^{2} =S {}^{2}

Putting values ,

(216) {}^{2} +(212) {}^{2} =S {}^{2}

(8) {}^{2} +(6) {}^{2} =S {}^{2}

 \sqrt{1} 00=S

∴S=10 cm
