If a dice is throne twice then
Sample space ={ One, two, three, four, five, six, one, two, three, four, five, six}
n(S) = 12
Let Event A be the event where an even number will come
Therefore A = { Two, four, six , two , four, six}
n(S)= 6
Probability that an even number will come
P(A) = n(A)/ n(S)
= 6/12
= 1/2
