If a doughnut-shaped piece of a metal is heated, will the doughnut hole get larger or smaller?​

larger because as metal is heated it expands, if a metal is in doughnut-shaped it's circumference will increase , hence hole will increase.

it's depended on the temperature. if the temperature is high then the metal melted or if temperature is normal or high ( not sufficient to melt the metal),then it only rises the temperature of that metal,(turns the metal red, due to high temperature only). but yeah you say about the hole, it definitely became large.
