answer-

we know that,

there are 6 numbers in a die namely 1-2-3-4-5-6

so, possible outcomes are 6

now, total even numbers present = 3 [ 2-4-6 ]

so probability of getting an even number is 3/6

= 1/2 or 50%

now,there are 2 numbers greater than 4 and those are = 5and 6

so probability of getting a number greater than 4 is 2/6

= 1/3 or [33 whole 1/3]%

hope it helps

have a nice day

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

see here we have to consider two things, the probability of even number and probability of a number greater than 4

so P(even number) = no. of even numbers in a dice (2,4,6,) / total outcomes(6)

                                = 3/6  = 1/2

Now, P(number greater than 4=
no. of numbers greater than 4(5,) / total no.of outcomes (6)

= 1/6
