Recall that in Inverse Proportion is a relationship between 2 variables such that the increase in one will cause a constant decrease in the other.

Given:

10 people = 15 days

There were 5 more guests

Find the number of people now:

Original = 10 people

Guest = 5 people

Now = 10 + 5

Now = 15 people

Find the number of days the ration can last if there were only 1 people.

10 people = 15 days

1 person = 15 x 10

1 person = 150 days

Find the number of days the ratio can last if there were 15 people:

1 person = 150 days

15 people = 150 ÷ 15

15 people = 10 days

Answer: The ration can last 10 days when there are 15 people.
