Answer:

When the fan operates in a closed room, the motion of the air molecules increases. The increase in the motion ofthe air molecules increases the rate of evaporation of sweat from our body. Due to this evaporation, we feel cool. There is no actual fall inroom temperature.

Q. Is a fan in a closed room is working...

then comment on the temperature in the room.

Soln.

  • Let the temperature of the room be Celsius or Kelvin or Fahrenheit ( it basically friends upon your understanding but remember that the SI unit is Kelvin)
  • Now,
  • if the temperature in the surrounding is cooler then the fan will there similar sure around the object near the fan i.e. cooler. eg. you may have noticed that during the winter season we keep the fan off as it throws cool air.
  • similarly if the temperature is hot in the nearby surrounding then the fan will throw little hot air but comparatively cooler than the surrounding.
  • Conclusion:- Fan throws comparatively cooler air in summer as of atmosphere and bit hotter air in winter as of atmosphere but because of our misunderstanding we keep off and on winter summer respectively.
  • NO ACTUAL FALL IN THE TEMPERATURE OF THE ROOM.
