Alright first we will calculate his CP and SP

Buys 12 bananas for Rs. 10

So 12x = 10

x = 10/12

x = 5/6

Each banana costed Rs. 5/6

Sells 10 bananas for Rs. 12

so 10x= 12

x = 12/10

x = 6/5

Each banana sold at Rs. 6/5

Profit = SP - CP

= 6/5 - 5/6

= 36/30 - 25/30

= 11/30

He makes a profit of 11/30 per banana

Now,

Profit % = Profit/CP * 100

= [(11/30)/(25/30)]*100

= (11/25)*100

= 44

So he makes a profit of 44% on each banana.

Hope this helped!

Answer:

Profit % = 44 %

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the information provided in the question it is given as

Food seller bought one dozen of banana = Rs. 10

sells 10 bananas of Rs 12

We need to find the profit or loss percentage

1 dozen = 12

12 =10

1= x

12x =10\\x=\frac{10}{12} \\x=0.83 paise

He sell 10 banana for 12

10=12

1= x

10x =12

x= \frac{12}{10}\\x= 1.2 rupees

Cost of 12 = 1.2 x 12 =14.40 Rupees

C P =10, S P = 14.40

Profit = 14.40 -10

          = 4.4 rupees

Profit % = Profit  x 100 /C P

Substituting the values

Profit \% = \frac{4.4 \times 100}{10} \\Profit \% =\frac{440}{10} \\               = 44\%

He Gain a profit of 44%
