if a force of 15 Newton acts on a body in the direction of north and another force of 10 Newton simultaniously acts on its the direction of South what is the resultant force acting on the body

force in north is 15N
force in south ia 10N
so resultant force will be in north direction.
15N-10N = 5N
force in south ia 10N
so resultant force will be in north direction.
15N-10N = 5N

☆Basiclly if we see ...then we will calculate the Net force acting on the object in the respective direction.....
☆Basically .....the force with greater Magnitude will have a long lasting effect on the body ...thus. ..

thus they totally opposite in nature.....
so they would try to cancel out each other.....
