ɢɪᴠᴇɴ :-
- Force(F) = 154 N
- Radius(r) of circular surface = 14 m
Tᴏ ғɪɴᴅ :-
- Pressure(P)
sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-
Now,
We know that,
➦ Area of Circle = πr²
➮ πr² = 22/7 × 14 × 14
➮ 22 × 2 × 14
➮ 44 × 14
➮ 616cm²
Hence,
➦ Area of circular surface = 616 m²
Now,
We know that,
On putting above values in it, we get,
Hence,
- Pressure (P) = 0.25 N/m² or Pascal

✰Question ✰
⋄ If a force of 154 N is applied on a circular surface of radius 14m then find the pressure so exerted?
_______________________________
❍ Given :-
⋄ Force (F) =154 N
⋄ Radius of Circular surface (r) =14 m
_______________________________
❍ To Find :-
⋄Pressure (P)
_______________________________
❍ Solution :-
we know that,
⋄ Area of Circle =πr²
➧ Area of circle =22/7×14 ×14
➧ Area of circle = 616m²
∴Area of circular surface =616m²
Now,
Pressure = Force/Area
➧ P=F/A
➧ P = 154/616
➧ P=0.25Pascal
∴The pressure exerted on circular surface is 0.25 Pascal.
