Solution

Given,

  • Force = 15Newton
  • 45° angle with the horizontal

To find ,

  • the horizontal and vertical component ?

Concept -

  • here we have the force of 15 Newton make angles of 45 degree with the horizontal we are given here the horizontal and vertical components to find . for which we have to use the formula of vertical component and the horizontal component . by only using the formula for vertical component and horizontal component we can find the answers .

Now ,

  • vertical component formula = Force × sin45
  • horizontal component formula = Force × cos45

by using this formula we get the value ;

Vertical components -

  • Force × sin45

= 15 × 1/√2

= 15×√2/2

Hence , the vertical component is 15(2/2).

Horizontal components -

  • Force × cos45

= 15×1/√2

= 15×(√2/2)

Hence , the horizontal component is 15(2/2) .
