Given : -

  • Force = 5N
  • Area = 2 cm²

To find : -

  • Pressure

Solution : -

★ 1m = 100cm ★

→ Area = 2cm²

→ Area = 2/100 × 100 = 0.0002m²

As we know that

→ Pressure = Force/Area

→ Pressure = 5/0.0002

→ Pressure = 25,000 N/m²

Hence,

  • Pressure = 25000 N/m²

Extra Information

  • S.I unit of pressure is N/m²(Pascal)
  • S.I unit of Force is Newton (N)
  • S.I unit of Area is m²
