If a gun accelerates a bullet of mass 100 g from rest to 25 m/s in 0.05 s. Calculate the force applied by gun on bullet?

initial velocity(u)=25m/s

final velocity(v)=25m/s

time(t)=0.05s

so acceleration(a)= (v-u)/t

a=25/0.05

a=2500/5=500m/second squared

by newton's second law of motion,

F(force)= Mass*a

F=0.1*500 N(we used mass as 0.1kg since we're finding the force,i.e; newton in SI Unit)

F=50N
