 \overrightarrow{A}=\hat {i}+ 2 \hat {j}+4 \hat {k} \\ \& \:\: \overrightarrow{B} = \hat {j}+3 \hat{k}

Now,  \overrightarrow{A} \times \overrightarrow {B}

 = \begin {vmatrix} \hat{i} & \hat {j} & \hat {k} \\1 & 2 & 4 \\ 0 & 1 & 3\end {vmatrix}

 = (6-4)\hat{i} - (3-0)\hat{j} + (1-0) \hat{k}
