if a+ib/c+id=x+iy prove that X²+y²=a²+b²/c²+d²

given that a+id/c+id=x+iy.

take congugate both side

a-id/c-id=x-iy

multiply them

a+in/c+id*a-ib/c-id= x+iy*x-iy

a2+b2/C2+D2=X2+y2
