Answer:

Let us assume Sodium salt to be Sodium Chloride and Sodium Sulphate.

Preparation of Sodium Chloride and Sodium Sulphate:

We know that Sodium is the most reactive metal in the reactivity series. Hence it will displace all salts from other less reactive salts solutions.

Therefore, Sodium Chloride can be prepared by making Sodium react with any of the Chloride solutions of Metals less reactive than Sodium.

E.g. Sodium +Hydrogen Chloride => Sodium Chloride + Hydrogen

Similarly when Sodium is reacted with sulphate salt of less react metals, we get,

Sodium + Hydrogen Sulphate => Sodium Sulphate + Hydrogen

Reactions involved are:

1. Na + HCl → NaCl + H₂

2. Na + H₂SO₄ → NaSO₄ + H₂

This is the required answer.
