GIVEN :-

A is directly proportional to B.

A = 4 , B = 6.

B = 27 , A = ?.

TO FIND :-

The value of A when B = 27.

SOLUTION :

  \sf  \frac{{x}_{1}}{ {y} _{1} }  = \frac{{x}_{2}}{ {y} _{2} }

x1 = 4

x2 = ?

y1 = 6

y2 = 27

 \sf  \frac{4}{ 6 }  = \frac{{x}_{2}}{27 }  \\    \sf \: 4 \times 27 = {x}_{2} \times 6 \\  \sf \: 108 =  {x}_{2} \times 6 \\  \sf \:  \frac{108}{6}  =  {x}_{2}

 \sf \:   {x}_{2}= 18
