If a is greater than b, a+b=12 and ab=32,
Then prove that (a+2b)²-5b² = 176

Please help me in this question. It's very very urgent.​

Given a+b=7,

Simply , square this equation , you’ll get ,

a2+2ab+b2=49

Now , subtract 3ab from both sides , which gives ,

a2−ab+b2=49−3ab

Now , substitute the value of ab from the given equation which is ab=12ab=12 , you get ,

a2−ab+b2=13
