= f(x) = (a - b) \sin^{2} (x) + b

= once \: 0 \leqslant \sin ^{2} (x) \leqslant 1the \: f(x) \: has \: limts \: a \: and \: b

= if \: a < b \: then fmax = b \: and \: fmin = a

= if \: b < a \: then \: fmax = a \: and \: fmin = b
