The Answer would be 15 m.

1) Since the ladder is 25 m high, this will be Hypotenuse of triangle so formed.

2) And the height of window is 20 m, so the perpendicular distance of the triangle is 20 m

3) Using Pythagoreas Theorem,

P^{2} +B^{2}= H^{2}.

4) B^2 = 25^2 - 20^2 = 625 - 400.

5) B^2 = 225

B = 15.

6) Hence, the distance between the ladder and the wall would be 15 m.
