Oh no..the plant will no longer remain healthy cause the wax will block the stomatal cells and this will lead to incomplete transpiration..so the plant will ultimately die.

Hey Friend!!!!....
If the leaves of a healthy plant is coated with thick layer of wax ,the stomata present on the leaves blocked ... Hence the exchange of gases doesn't take place that results in deficiency of carbon dioxide.... Hence the rate of photosynthesis is reduced as there is insufficient carbon dioxide as it's the main necessary for photosynthesis...
Hence the plant may not remain healthy for long period.... Ultimately ,the plant dies....
