the gain will be of the extra 1.5 % .

so now find the 1.5 % of 3500.

52.5 rupees in one year.

so in three years 3x52.5 = 157.5. answer.

Learner12q: was that clear ?
rakshanagreat: yes
Learner12q: which class do you read in ?
rakshanagreat: 10
Learner12q: good !
Learner12q: Is my method clear to you ?
rakshanagreat: not getting answer
Learner12q: matlab ?
rakshanagreat: 12.50/2000*100= 6.25 for three years 6.25÷100*3 so the denominators is not 24. then can i get 5/24

Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

Gain to B = ₹ 157.5

● Explanation -

Simple interest to B is given by -

SI(B) = 3500 × 10/100 × 3

SI(B) = ₹ 1050

Simple interest to C is given by -

SI(C) = 3500 × 11.5/100 × 3

SI(C) = ₹ 1207.5

So gain to B is calculated by -

Gain to B = 1207.5 - 1050

Gain to B = ₹ 157.5

Hence, gain to B is ₹ 157.5.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you..
