Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length be x and breadth be y.

(x-2)(y+2) = xy+8

xy-2y+2x-4 = xy+8

x-y = 12

(x-3)(y+1) = xy-27

xy-3y+x-3 = xy-27

x-3y = -24

x -y. = 12

x -3y = -24

(-).(+). = (+)

2y = 36

y = 18

x= 30

Hence length is 30 units and breadth is 18 units
