If a line L intersects two concentric circles at points A,B,C and D ,as shown in figure ,prove that AB=CD .​

Step-by-step explanation:

It can be observed that BC is the chord of the smaller circle and AD is the chord of the bigger circle

We know that perpendicular drawn from the centre of the circle bisects the chord

BL = LC ------- (1)

And,

AL = LD ------- (2)

On subtracting (ii) from (i), we get

AL - BL = LD - LC

AB = CD
