Good Morning!!

Equation of line perpendicular to the given line is x - 3y + k = 0

x = 2 and y = 2 becoz it's given that this line passes through the point ( 2 , 2 )

2 - 3 ( 2 ) + k = 0

k = 4

so, equation of line perpendicular to the given line is x - 3y + 4 = 0

Have a nice day ahead .

deepajothi02: the perpendicular from the origin to a line meets it at the point (-3,5),find the equation o the line
Anonymous: equation of line is......y - 5 = -3 / 5 ( x + 3)............
Anonymous: 5y + 3x -16=0
