As we know that the mid-point formula :-

\Large\boxed{(X,Y)=(x1+x2)/2,(y1+y2)/2}

on comparing X co-ordinate we get :-

==>. {-6 + (-2)}/2 = m / 2

\Large\boxed{m=(-8)}
