If A.M. between pth and qth terms of an A.P. be equal to the A.M. between rth and sth term of the A.P. then prove that p + q = r + s.​

AM between pth and qth terms= (p+q)/2

AM between rth and sth terms=(r+s)/2

ATP,

(p+q)/2=(r+s)/2

p+q=r+s    (multiplying both sides by 2)
