if a magnet is brought magnet on the magnetic compass, 3 Kanika did not have a magnetic compass, but she had a bar magnet and a thread. Can she find directions using these two items? Justify your answer in 30-40 words. Can we use it? Justify. ​

The compass needle is a small magnet. That's why when a compass needle is brought near a bar magnet, its magnetic field lines interact with that of the bar magnet. Hence, a compass needle gets deflected near the magnet bar.
