If a man goes 10m toward north and 20m towards east, than his displacement is—

It is to make a line segment of 10m toward north side and after that make a line segemnt frim one of the end of that line segment . now join the end points of both lines which has left....measure the new segment ....and hence it will be ur displacement

displacement=sqrt 10^2+20^2

displacement=sqrt500

displacement=20sqrt5=22.5
