The motion is accelerated.

kamvbgulsbr: your answer is wrong!
yug: ....... coin will step back only when there is decceleration. , in case of uniform motion coin will neither have acceleration nor decelleration.
manitkapoor2: with our frame of reference inside the train the coin appears to be moving backward(acceleration)
manitkapoor2: edit ur answer simran

the motion is accelerated because the coin appears to be moving backward due to inertia

manitkapoor2: mark as best please
Anonymous: thanx 4 informing my frnds
yug: kk. can u tell me that why the ans is not uniform motion
manitkapoor2: if it was uniform motion then coin would have no horizontal displacement
yug: .. due to inertia. am object in motion tends to be in motion that's why...... am i right
manitkapoor2: i mean it will always have little horizontal displacement(since very projectile motion is parabolic) but not to so extent(it will be negilibgle)
manitkapoor2: yes u are right
yug: thnkew... suppport me in another questions also
manitkapoor2: ok
