if a man rows at 6km/hr in still water and 4.5k./hr against the current then find the speed at which man rows along the current

Speed of boat (Upstream) = speed of boat in still water- speed of water = 6-3=3 km/h.

Speed of boat (downstream) = speed of boat in still water+ speed of water = 6+3 =9km/h.

Time = distance /speed

45/60 = d/9 +d/3

3/4 =4d/9

Distance= 27/16....
