720 = 0.75X
X = 960.
CP = Rs. 960.
So, To gain 25%, SP would be
= 960 + 25% of 960 =Rs. 1200.

$x \times \frac{(100 - 25)}{100} = 720 \\ x \times \frac{75}{100} = 720 \\ x \times 0.75 = 720 \\ x = \frac{720}{0.75 } \\ x = 960$

$= 960 \times \frac{100 + 25}{100} \\ = 960 \times \frac{125}{100} \\ = 960 \times 1.25 \\ = 1200$
