if a man travels at a speed of 30 km/he, he reaches his destination 10 minutes late and if he travel at a speed of 42 km he reaches his destination 10 minutes early how much distance covered by him

Let x = distance travelled.

(x ÷ 30) - (x ÷ 42) = 10 + 10 mins (1/3 hour)

Multiply them by 30 and 42 =

42x - 30x = (1/3) × 30 × 42

12x = 420

x = 420 ÷ 12

x = 35 km
