Let the distance be x km.

Then, correct time at a speed of

30 km / h = x30x30 - 10601060

Correct time at a speed of 42 km /h

= x42x42 + 10601060

=> x30x30 - 10601060 = x42x42 + 10601060

=> x30x30 - x42x42 = 2626

=> x(12)1260x(12)1260 = 2626

=> 72 x = 1260 ×× 2

=> x = 1260×2721260×272 => x = 35 km
