Total distance =20 Km
speed S for first condition =5km/H
Time taken =
 total \: distance \div speed
20/5=4 hour or 240 min (1 hour =60 min)
late if goes with this speed =40 min .
so he got time to reach is =240-40( time taken by this speed - late timing)
=200 min or 3 hours 20 mins

now according to second condition---

total distance =20km
speed = 8km/hour
T= 20/8=2.5 hours (150 mins 2.5*60)

and as we know fixed time to reach is =200 min
by the speed of 8km/hour he will reach in = 150 min

early timing = timing to reach - reaching time .
so=200-150=50 min

he will reach 50 min early from the fixed time
