Answer:

TO GAIN 25% HE SHOULD SELL IT FOR 1200

Step-by-step explanation:

We have,

 S.P of the chair =Rs.720

 Loss =25%

∴C.P=(100−Loss percent100×S.P)

⇒C.P=Rs.(100−25100×720)=75100×720

=Rs.(34×720)=Rs.960

Desired gain =25%

∴S.P=100100+Gain percent×C.P

⇒S.P=Rs.(100100+25×960)=Rs.(100125×960)

=Rs.(45×960)=Rs.1200

\large\underline\pink{Given:-}

  • A man sell his chair for Rs. 720 he would lossof 25%.

\large\underline\pink{To find:-}

  • Fine the Rs he would sell his chair for the gain or 25% ....?

\large\underline\pink{Solutions:-}

Sp = 720

Loss = 25 %

720 × 25/100

180

Cp = 720 + 180

Cp = 900

the man gain of 25% then he would sell the chair in gain of 25% in the cp.

900 × 25/100

900 × 1/4

225

Sp = 900 + 225

Sp = 1125

hence, the so of the gain of 25% is Rs 1125.
