We know that,

If A is an n×n square matrix then,
Value of |3A| = 3^n |A|

Now, here A is 3 by 3 matrix,

=|3A|
=3^3 |A|
=27*4
=108

Hope, this helps

Answer:

Since the matrix is of order 3 x 3, so the value of n x n is also 3.

Given that the determinant of the given matrix is 4.

|A| = 4

We've to find the value of a function equals to |3*A|

Consider that A be the 3 x 3 order matrix and its value is;

n^n*|A| = 3³ *4 = 27 *4 = 108

|3*A| = 108
