10

as in meiosis 1 in anaphase same no of chromosomes will equate and move towards the pole

and in meiosis 2 same thing that takes place in mitosis takes place but we get 4 haploid cells at end

Answer:meiocute is a diploid cell

During meoisis there is formation of homologous pair

So from 20 chromosome 10pair can be formed

In anaphase1 chromosomes from a pair moves towards opposite poles, that is 10 chromosome moves toward one pole and remaining chromosome moves toward another pole

Hence 10 chromosomes are present in each pole

Simply meosis is also called as reductional division in which number of chromosome in daughter cell is half the number in parent

Explanation:this may help you

All the best
