effectively he climbs 1cm per day

so in fifteen days he will climb 15m and on the sixteenth day he will climb 5cm and get out of the grave

length of grave = 20 cm.
increasing length amount per day = 5 cm.
decreasing amount per day = 4 cm
increase amount in one whole day = 5 cm - 4 cm = 1 cm
so,
in 15 days he will climb 15 cm.
On 16th day he will climb 5 cm at day and reach on top
so, he will go up on 16th day.
