Answer:

12

Given: a-b=10

ab =11

To find: Value of a+b

Solution:

(a-b)^2= 10^2

a^2+b^2+2ab=100

a^2+b^2+2(11)=100

a^2+b^2=100+22

a^2+b^2=122

Now we know that,

(a^2+b^2+2ab)=(a+b)^2

Values of

a^2+b^2=122

ab=11

______________________________________

So,

122+2(11)=(a+b)^2

144=(a+b)^2

So, a+b= √144

a+b=12

______________________________________

So value of a+b=12

Hope it helps.....
